Great news-multiple options for consumers is usually a very good thing!

Yeah i agree totally. hopefully will see some more HMV steelbook exclusives as well but whether its for steelbooks or music another retailer in the marketplace is only a good thing.

I spoke with my local branch and they didn't think Wolverine will be added to the website and will remain as an Instore release only.

And I was told they will be concentrating on uk and Ireland address only on the website. Not concrete information but would sort of make sense until they establish themselves again. Refund and returns of damaged items sent abroad can be costly.

Will wait and see on Thursday when it reopens. I would certainly recommend our us and worldwide friends to wait before cancelling in a group buy.

Damn, looks like I will have to get out of bed early then and get to my local one to pick it up! lol

Could be they also want to keep the price high on this one. Just before the store got problems I noticed several of the new steelbooks being £29.99. I can see this one being at least £25 instore. I've seen several eBayers already asking for £40 on pre orders of this.

Fantastic news!! Loved the HMV exclusives that they did! Just hope they don't go down the Zavvi route and bleed their customers dry with their well over inflated prices!
Will be interesting to see what the first hmv exclusive pre order will be, ( excluding Wolverine)

No idea but from what's on Hilco UK Site news website it reads as if it will be open for digital music downloads only - at least at first - (and maybe only via their mobile apps?)


I could be completely wrong but there's no mention about anything other that digital downloads on Hilco News Site ATM apart from new things coming in 2014

Was hoping to buy blu rays off them again at cheaper prices than chavvi but get them on time.

No interest in basically anything other than steelbooks from HMV, as I get my cd's from Amazon at cheaper prices and Amazon get all the exclusives. Won't be bothering with HMV online till get they do steelbooks again
