Everything Blu Facebook

Release Schedule (SUBJECT TO APPROVALS!) - We would like to let you know our direction over the next few releases and as stated above, these are subject to approvals. We are taking on board suggestions of movies without steelbook releases but we need some sort of foot in the market before doing so. However, some of those titles have already been brought up in a meeting today, so hopefully we can progress further with those soon.

This schedule is planned to have full Exclusive SteelBook designs (Not just flipped artwork exclusivity). All would feature the same setup as Shaun of the Dead; Full Slip, Lenticular & Blu Box.

Casino EE 002
Hot Fuzz EE 003
Oblivion EE 004
The Worlds End 005

Thank you to everyone supporting us, please let us know you thoughts on the titles above!!

As we all know the trilogy is commonly known as THE THREE FLAVOURS CORNETTO TRILOGY so how's about a different Cornetto flavour colour for EBlu's Bluboxes.
. . . so, on that theme and continuing from the "flavour" we've already had:-
(1) SHAUN OF THE DEAD Cornetto Flavour = STRAWBERRY ------------------------------------------------------------------- (2) HOT FUZZ Cornetto Flavour = BLACK BLUEBERRY
View attachment 314897 View attachment 314896 / View attachment 314901-View attachment 314899
-----------------------------------------------------------------------(3) WORLD'S END Cornetto Flavour = BUTTERSCOTCH (Back of old steelbook = front of new steelbook ???)
Blubox really should be a blue box for HOT FUZZ / View attachment 314902 View attachment 314900

N.B. Just a bit of fun . . . not to be taken seriously . . . not designed to upset anyone etc.

It's Strawberry, Vannila and Mint though

Not quite

The three flavours of the Cornetto Trilogy are Strawberry + Blueberry + Mint Chocolate
(with two of the colours chosen for obvious reasons (red SHAUN blood . . . blue/black FUZZ cops and Green WORLD'S END referencing the "little green men" that live "up there" (lol) but no Cornetto eaten by our two heroes in that last film.

Strawberry - SHAUN - red Blubox and Steelbook
Blueberry - FUZZ - Blue/black Blubox and Steelbook
Mint - WORLD'S END - Green Blubox (n) (unless new green steelbook artwork is commissioned)

. . .and talking about product placement in the trilogy (lol)

Oh, Lordy, Lordy . . . blueberry / blackberry / any damn berry colour for the Blubox as long as it reflects the blue/black of the cops' uniforms in HOT FUZZ and the steelbook :banghead:

To be precise the HOT FUZZ reference is not a Cornetto flavour rather a reference to the BLUE WRAPPER of the Vanilla classic.

I'm sorry but you literally just said above when we said it was the classic, original vanilla flavour

"not quite"

And then...

"The three flavours of the Cornetto Trilogy are Strawberry + Blueberry + Mint Chocolate"

We're just telling you man...

I think we're looking at this from a different perspective with colour vs. flavour.
As HUT FUZZ is a film about cops and as their uniforms are dark blue/black and as the steelbook is a combination of those colours I feel that the Blubox should match the colour of the steelbook in the way that the SHAUN steelbook matches the colour of the SHAUN Blubox (red representing blood, zombies etc.). The fact that a strawberry Cornetto is involved is neither here nor there . . . it's the colour that counts.
The Cornetto flavour is not relevant to HOT FUZZ . The Cornetto reference is to the COLOUR OF THE BLUE WRAPPER . . . and doesn't matter that it's a bog-standard vanilla flavour under said wrapper.
If we're looking for a Cornetto flavour instead of the colour of the wrapper then any of the Berry flavours would be OK but not ideal as maybe too purple and not nearly as good as a blue black colour such as a combination of . . .

Anyway, before this gets too silly . . .

I think the Original Blue Vanilla is the correct one because:
1. It's what they eat in the movie
2. Sgt. Nicholas Angel is a pretty "vanilla" character before Danny helps him learn how to "switch off"
3. Blue for Police

Before we get back on topic I wonder if Wright will ever do another trilogy

Chocolate/Hazel Nut, Caramel and Royale Black Forrest

War Movie, Western and maybe a Medievil film with one of them being Royalty or something

I don't know. Would be nice to cover the other genres. Either that or go back to the original flavours and do different spins on the films they did before...I'm pretty sure once upon a time he had a Shaun of the Dead sequel called "From Dusk Til Shaun"...could be a "What If...Vampires Attacked Instead of Zombies".

I love Wrights style but the films without Pegg/Frost like Scott Pilgram and the upcoming Baby Driver (I don't like the look of it) aren't that interesting. Scott Pilgram being ruined because (sorry guys) I can't stand Michael Cera, it felt like Michael Cera vs the World.
