zavvi is only trying to maximize their profits for a title that has high demand and interest to help balance the hundreds of releases with lesser or no demand.
please dig deep and get the box so zavvi gets the bucks! the deeper you dig the more they can release!

That is entirely up to and is your decision. My problem was this tactic from zavvi and has been mentioned before is that zavvi are trying to increase sales of their zbox by including a steelbook which should be released separately. What you and what people are doing by pre-ordering this, is saying to zavvi its ok I will pay more money for a steelbook as I get a zbox. This will increase zbox sales and allow zavvi to initiate a process where you will only be able to buy an exclusive steelbook from zavvi IF you get a zbox with it.
You are only buying this for the steelbook right? You yourself have said you will be selling the crappy zbox asap, so you are playing right into their hands. Just my opinion.
Bang on.
Its a shame everyone on here has not boycotted them.
We should be NinjaStrong
Give over, people can buy whatever they like and if they choose to sell the zbox and keep the steelbook themselves then it's for them to do so.
It's been said so many times in this thread and others that people are free to do what they want, however, frankly speaking having people like you chastise others for buying it for whatever reason is one of the real problems IMO.
HAHAHAHAHA whatever
People are free to order and buy what they want, never said they can't. All I said is It's a shame they was not boycotted which is my opinion and I'm allowed to say so
Nobody has directly said you can't buy this, but a number of members have been sure to bring the Zavvi hate train into this thread derailing it with nonsense and making those that order it feel guilty of doing so. You've also stated your opinion more than once in this thread which you've made clear you have no intention of buying. There's a Zavvi retailer thread, go post there.
Let's keep it friendly on here folks, everyone is entitled to their opinion. If you want to continue this back and forth, take it to PMs. Thanks.
What is important is been able to choose what you want to purchase
I and other customers should have the choice to purchase a steelbook on its own and also have the right to purchase as a combination with another product in this case been a Zbox
Zavvi will learn the hard way loss of profits due to lot of unsold stock and if Iron Man becomes available on its own after the Zbox has been shipped to customers they can expect one thing lots of returns of Zbox and refunds to give to customersWhile I agree with you in principle, their is no 'right' to anything.
You have the option to buy a Z-box, a Z-box with an Iron Man steelbook or buy nothing at all. We have no right to just buy a steelbook, any more than I have a right to buy a new house for £1000 just because I can't afford one for £250,000.
I collect 1966 Batman toys. With Mattel's figures you have these options...
Batman
Batman & Robin (set of 2)
Batman, Robin & Batgirl (set of 3)
Batman & Robin with a Batmobile
Batgirl
Not much choice there if you just want Robin on his own. I have no right to be offered one either no matter how much I might want one. What I do have is the right to talk with my wallet. What that might mean though is that Robin remains missing from my collection.
I have no doubt that Iron Man will get an individual release. But if it doesn't, well, you have no right to complain. Morally, sure. Legally, no.
nice to see there is a complete split on opionon here for once.
one thing i would say to those that have to choose buying on this occasion, which is there complete choice.
have you thought about the possiabilty that each and every month a major steel comes from them and the only way to get is to buy with a zbox from now on as one thought.
and yes some of you may be able to afford that carrying on,some may not just buy again like this and not bother.
but there could be a greater majority that wont be able to afford that each month, has anyone thought of that?
anyway as paulboland said its should all be about choice his point is still vaild and helps every member on this site, like common sense for the consumer.
a little thought towards you fellow man goes along way in my book its a shame that we still live in the world of me!(myself inculded)
