@CleverLoginName Apologies buddy, I missed your earlier tag but I've since managed to inspect mine earlier today and yes, there are feint hairline scratches in the gloss coating. I also found a significant paint chip on the front of the SteelBook (in Merlin's direct eyeline) which has started to annoy me

It managed to camouflage itself into the design but it is indeed a paint chip (3 in total actually) There's several others scattered about also (albeit minor) but they're certainly there. E-mail with photographic evidence now fired off to ML So thanks for the nudge I think...

I really don't understand the poor QC from Asian retailers. Don't they actually check their steels before sealing them up? It's as if they think we will just accept it and hope we don't complain about the issue. Also a majority of premiums are kept sealed and most would never know. I really do think something needs to be done about it.

It's a good job @Sigill doesn't open his steels. Simon be having a nervous breakdown all the time

My zavvi steels have a much higher success rate and all of them opened!

Lol! Sometimes it's better to not see what's lurking inside the slips!

I had Royal Mail open a package that was sent from Brazil from a friend with 8 steelbooks inside. The declaration was very low and 8 steelbooks in there lol. They just resealed it up and put a note that it has been opened. They probably saw it and thought nothing of it lol

thanks man!! It's a flat acrylic table, led lights across the front for effect. I do have glass cases with colored lighting but they are used for my Hot Toys mainly.

My Deadpool box from Karel arrived a little worse than that(and wet) but the Box and steels were fine(thanks to the many layers of bubble wrap, and Karel of course )
