- The steelbook illustration is by Krzysztof Domaradzki.
- The artwork for the slipbox was used previously for the Oldboy vinyl LP. It was co-ordinated by Nicolas Winding Refn, the director of Drive, and illustrated by Laurent Durieux. The director of Oldboy Park Chan-wook wanted one of our editions to feature this artwork so we reached out to Milan Records and illustrator Laurent Durieux. You'll be able to see more of the artwork since parts of the top and bottom were cropped out for the vinyl LP.

I know this one receives quite a bit of hate, but I honestly can't stop looking at my copy.

I only grabbed the purple slip, but I'm in complete agreement. I think the steelbook itself could've been a bit more vivid, but otherwise it is a nearly flawless package all-round (IMO, of course).

So it's sold out on the international website but available on the national website?
So it would seem, though it's odd that they pulled the listings completely from the international page. You wouldn't even know they existed, which is odd for such a flagship title. Perhaps it had something to do with the perceived backlash from international customers about various issues with the release (no box-set, subtitle support, etc.).

Either way, I suspect it'll make its way back onto the international site sooner or later. PA just bounced a bit of stock o a number of titles (Melancholia, ISTD, ZDT) onto the international site a few days ago. I wouldn't be surprised to see Oldboy again after the dust settles.

That's my only minor complaint too... I hate to think how dull it would've looked if it were matte rather than gloss. It's still a cracking looking steelbook though IMO, and easily the best edition of Oldboy out there! :)
