The disc will be the same as the new US Special Edition

Here's something that's made me very happy. From the PR company -

Hi Matt,

I hope you are well, please find attached the press release for Pain & Gain. I am pleased to confirm that the UK release will feature the same extras as the US special edition release.

Kind Regards

Kerry

Latest update from Zavvi
Still waiting on finalised artwork.

The finishes are overall matte varnish, except for a spot UV gloss on Mark and Dwayne on the front cover.

There’s a pantone red on their names on the front cover, and emboss on the title treatment.

Confirmed as 1000 units only and from the traffic and questions we are getting, think this will only last a couple of days at the most before selling out.

Now now guys, good to see some debate on this but take it from someone who has this is In hand. The finish quality is very very good and most def is not at all streaky it a good paint job and far better than some matte finishes we have seen lately. The spot gloss on this is great and works to good effect. The emboss work on the title is also to a very good standard so overall I would give this steel a 7/10 not a 2 as previuosly mentioned by a member who does NOT have a copy. I'm happy with it and so are a lot of people judging by what these are shifting for. Oh and the film insides not too bad either.

I love these heated debates on this forum. It nearly always seems to be around the low print run, sold out, steels. I too "missed out" on this one as I was out of the country. I couldn't get wi-fi regularly etc. For those people who are deeply upset about not having one I suggest you do the same as me, and wait for the price to drop on ebay. It will.
Keep up the slagging lads. I love it !!!

quality looking steel Blu, the inside art looks really good quality for a change

Yeah overall it really is a nice Steelbook. Which is why all the slagging and negativity from people who don't even own a copy annoys me!

I don't mind paying a few quid extra for some gloss and a quality finish. And as you say, the inside art is vibrant and really stands out.

I never ordered this when it was on sale at first, then it sold out and I saw the pictures on release and was pissed that I didn't get it

not a huge fan of Wahlberg he can be a bit annoying at times and that put me off a bit originally but the quality of steel brought me back in lol

mhh maybe it comes back again on zavvi ;)

i was in my local saturn on monday and there are many many steelbooks left of this... its not so popular in germany i think :D
