I remember that someone recommended using shuriken instead of poorly mutilated ninjas, so I'll start that. :D

LOL! Yea I loved Sicario too. Watched it over the weekend. Only bad thing I could say is, certain scenes felt...forced. Like "here, LOOK at this scenery". But yea, excellent film regardless.

The main character is a young writer that lives in New York and can't get to find a good job. He stumbles upon this stunning french married woman and starts an affair with her. The title refers to the daily temporal frame (5 PM to 7 PM) in which she agrees to have their meetings, the rest of the day being dedicated to her "regular life" (i.e. husband and kids).

The movie in my opinion is clearly divided in two parts. The first is bulkier, more entertaining and more solid with its witty (yet somewhat artificial) dialogues between the two lovers. In this section they come to know each other and we see how their relationship grows. The second part -- which is basically the final part of the movie, taking about the last 20-25 minutes -- has a completely different spirit and it seems to start watching a different movie. This last section is (or aims to be) much more dramatic, with extensive use of voiceover and emotional moments.

All in all I think the flick is quite enjoyable :)

Agent 47 - :ninja::ninja:

This was definitely no Hitman. I thought it was okay as an action film and the fight scenes were pretty cool, but that's kind of what ruined it for me... Agent 47 is all about stealth and planning, not constantly winging it and hoping for the best, which mostly resulted in having a shootout/mini war in the middle of a busy street. Plus 47 wasn't even the main character here... all the focus was on the girl and her rather boring story. It certainly makes me appreciate Olyphant's Hitman a lot more, which I personally always really enjoyed anyway.

The Man from U.N.C.L.E. - :ninja::ninja::ninja:

Bone Tomahawk - :ninja::ninja::ninja:

Pretty strange week for me... the films I expected to love (Everest, UNCLE, Bone Tomahawk) ended up being quite disappointing, and the films I expected to hate (The Gift, Amy) ended up being okay. All in all they were all pretty average... maybe my opinion will change after a rewatch though.

Blasphemy!!! UNCLE requires you to give him at least 4 ninjas!
How do you people not love this movie? It was hilarious :D Must be a UK thing :cautious:

And for better or for worse, I think our opinions change after a rewatch on majority of the movies. But that's perfectly fine. Unfortunately we don't have time to watch every single movie twice.
