"The speculation over Christopher Nolan’s next movie has come to an end. Universal revealed Monday that Nolan will adapt The Odyssey, the epic poem from Homer that follows Odysseus’ journey home after the Trojan war.

In any case, I'm sure it's gonna be a cinematic feast!

If it's Tom Holland as Odysseus, I just don't see it. He's a good enough actor yes definitely but physically, I think he's a little too small for the role of a mythological warrior of this stature.

It's also worth nothing in that context that Nolan stated that his favorite film of 2024 was Gladiator II and that he loved the sharks in the collosseum...not joking.

I just watched Gladiator 2 last night and I swear he has to be trolling... did he actually watch anything else in 2024? It's bottom of the barrel for me. That said, his own films have been rubbish and super pretentious of late imo
