Well I like one clicks as I like to have all the same number on the editions I'm gonna buy. Second if I'm buying a release I have to have all editions of that release for said retailer. Just an ove thing of mine. 3rd I understand that we will be paying for it either way if sold separtly or in one click however when it's just included in the one click weather you bought it or. Not it being a low print run let's say 500 is what makes it a nice bonus. To have allc3 editions with the same number. If they sold them all separtly then there would be no reason to buy the one click. Just like nova and the Incredible Hulk couldn't get the quarter slip without the one click as its a low print number just for one clicks which is what makes it special a collectable

For me Revenant was all about the atmosphere, the beautiful camera shots, the nature and the score. The story was pretty lame. I don't need a big Leo with embossed frozen snot on the Full Slip. FAC is a easy pass.

I'll definitely go for MantaLab. Full Slip and WEA Steel looks perfect to me. And the leather bound is a really nice touch. Need to see if I can afford a one-click or if I force me to get "just" one.

MantaLab knocked it out of the park with MoS, the FS is my second favorite release after Fury Road HDZeta this year. Really excited for their upcoming releases

The one clicks are always the first to sell out so I doubt they will change the tactic. At the end of the day they are a business and businesses like to maximise profits.

I wonder how many people will buy the one click just to sell the exclusive.

They do sell out quickest and they could always sell the leather slip seperately still.
I just think the leather style slip is too good to be sold only to one click buyers. Believe me if I had the cash I would buy the 3 and do what a few of us spoke about yesterday and sell the other 2 editions. But with man of steel staying in stock a while and by the sounds of things others have the same idea you would barely get your money back on the bay or wherever.
Plus the print run is larger for this than it was with MOS so it makes sense to sell the leather slips seperately too.

And do the standard when you buy a one click you get matching numbers.

It's really not that hard to set up.

I think it's wrong to seperate the people who are collectors that can't afford £120 on one release just so they can get the one slip they want that's not available on its own. Make it available to buy seperate but maybe a smaller print run

I had said before manta aren't the first to do this but again I think comparing a quarter slip to a full on leather edition is completely different but I agree with the rest you said. Of course people who buy one clicks want matching numbers also.


One thing I do know with manta is they enjoy feedback, they welcome it. They read social media, emails and HDN so they ere listening
They may decide to ignore what ive requested. That's down to them, but i like the fact they listen unlike some companies. Whether they act on it or just take it as feedback
they still have some bits to work on with this and finalising stuff. Who knows what they decide to do

What many do is buy the one-click and sell the 1/4 slip or the one that was not available for sale individually as this is more sought after than the other ones. This gives them a decent profit to reinvest their money in upcoming releases. Nice tactic which some may consider as morally wrong.

I never buy one-clicks because of any special items. I buy one-clicks, because I want to buy every release of the film.

I was planning on getting a one-click for this release before any "leather book" was announced. It's cool, sure, but it's not the deciding factor in why I'm getting a one-click.

I got one-clicks for nearly every Plain release all of 2015. I got the Kimchi It Follows one-click. I got the Kimchi Whiplash one-click. Why? Because I like getting every copy. Not because I got something even more limited or exclusive.

Will you be keeping the other versions?

Depends on the final product. When the Novamedia The Force Awakens editions were announced, I thought I'd only keep Full Slip A if I got an OC. Well, now that I got it, my initial plan has changed. All three editions are gorgeous (insert random Gollum "my precious" here), and will not be split up. Could very easily also happen in this case. The full slip looks great already, even though it's only a computer generated picture. Let's see what the last of three will look like.
