If you genuinely want the film on bluray the amaray costs beer money. We are paying for the most premium collector grade packaging possible and any bonus discs is always nice.

Steelbooks in itself is a cash grab. Nobody is forcing you to buy anything. If you want it buy it. If you don't then move on.

In that case why bother complaining about anything at all? If collectors are unhappy about something then they are perfectly entitled to voice their concerns.

Well that would just be silly. Nobody is forcing you to buy the FAC versions either. Honestly, the Manta releases are going to be way better. The steenbok is better. The full slip is way better. And the "leather book"? Yeah, forget FAC all together on this film.


All this outrage about the possibility of the "leather book" only being offered as part of the one-click. Where's the complaints about the boxes FA only offers as part of one-clicks? Or the special box/packaging that Kimchi did for The Raid? Why are you being so selective in ONLY hating Manta for doing this?

@jacobsever I think the special box sets are perfect for one clicks because I'd never buy a one click just for a box I feel the boxsets from fac are pretty useless, same goes with the hdzeta boxsets. However the raid display case was cool.

I think what is grinding peoples gears is the addition of a special slip, something that could perfectly be sold on its own, beside the other items included in a one click.

One click used to be a simple way for people who buy type abc and want same number. But now retailers keep adding incentives to buy one clicks, in the eyes of retailers it's a great idea, in the eyes of consumers (some) it's annoying.

If it comes down to it and I really want that leather slip edition, I'll buy the one click and sell off the other editions. Annoying, but the way it is.

This is all my opinion so no-one get upset I just don't see the point of owning three editions of the same movie, but I respect everyone's ways of collecting. for all we know the extra edition could turn out bad!

My thoughts exactly.Its an exclusive for going that extra mile on the one click.I don't know why people are moaning about it.I want the one click because i love the film.And if i can get a more limited copy that way then hell yeah im happy

Easy to say dude, not so easy to decide especially when they tempt you so much with lovely releases!! That's the point people are discussing in here to try and voice their opinions, hear others, get some perspective and make a decision to buy or not to buy. Surprising is your opinions that steelbooks are just a cash grab considering your a collector too, quite hypocritical thinking no?

I said I would forgo the Manta versions simply due to the fact that I feel I am being forced to buy the 1-click to get the special slip, however no one ever forced me to buy FA editions, I buy those regardless as I am a big fan of FA Of course you are entitled to your opinion about both Manta and FA editions in comparison. I for one love the leather book which is why I have the feeling I am being forced to buy the 1-click.

And just for the record I think the FA boxes are rubbish, the quality just isn't there but at least it is a very minimal 200czk difference in price which is about £6, nothing like the cost of a special slip which will be at least £40-£50. And with the raid boxset I don't even think that is a worth comparison, honestly I didn't even know it came with one when I bought it so it was a great surprise BUT once again this is not the same thing as offering a special slip whereby the cost is majorily different.

The one clicks are always the first to sell out so I doubt they will change the tactic. At the end of the day they are a business and businesses like to maximise profits.

I wonder how many people will buy the one click just to sell the exclusive.
