Hello HDN!

It's was an exciting year in 2013, with classic and new titles receiving the Steelbook™ treatment. As in years past, I have tallied all of your suggestions from the nomination threads and it's time for you all to vote for your favorites from our 25 most nominated contenders. Past winners include Thor and The Raid. 2013 Winner: Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

Please remember that you can only vote 1 time, but you can vote for multiple titles when you vote.

Here's a video I made for this year as a 'ninja recap' of the 25 most nominated Steelbooks. Turn the sound up/use headphones, if you wish to see it with music.

You can see the video here on HDN's Official Youtube Channel, along with many other individual Steelbook videos created by our very own Snollygoster (Productions). After you check it out the recap, just come back to the forum and cast your votes.

Voting starts right here in our poll, today and ends 1/31. Have fun everyone!

I'm not sure why there is a backlash against WFRR, it is a great Steelbook in my opinion, here are the reasons why it will be a deserved winner:

- Great artwork, especially the back - possibly the best back cover of any Steelbook released ever
- Awesome glossy finish
- Unique debossing/embossing
- Small print run
- Very affordable price unlike some of the contenders here
- Good film inside (very important for some collectors)

I'm not being negative...it is a great damn steelbook but If I realized it would have been crowd sourced straight to the numero uno steelbook of the year by everyone that simply likes it then I never would have voted for it. My vote is added to its lead and I would like my vote back. If I knew then what I know now that this was how it would go down before I pushed the vote button I would have only voted for my single favorite steelbook.

That's why I only voted for 1, LOA. I wanted to give all 5 of my votes to LOA, but couldn't. So I only voted once, because the way it's setup, you vote once for your favorite steel, and 4X against your favorite steel, if you vote 5 times. For all those who haven't voted yet, keep this fact in mind. If I could do it again, I would have given a vote for Tangled and OZ. In this way, I messed up. I thought I could vote again after I hit that submit vote button.

I think making it a pre round is a great idea. Then we could possible take the top 5 and make our final vote of one steel per vote for the one we want to win.

In other words: I don't like the result as it stands therefore the format should be changed!
