If I really like the movie or better art work comes out I buy multiples, such as the resident Evil series, tron, and Ingloriuos Bastrads. Plus if there rare such as Iron man.

But recently there is a flood of steels coming, too many to purchase, and like others have said a lot are crap movies,

I buy more than a copy of a movie if I like the covers. Or at least, I plan to. Can't really afford to buy that many at once.

Actually I should have said great rather than good. It is a movie I do enjoy nonetheless like the rest of the series.

There are a lot that I know of that I double, triple or more dipped due to my OCD of collect em all title exclusives. If I write them off, its a LOT!

Inception
Sherlock Holmes
Watchmen
Sucker Punch
Public Enemies


And I'm 100% sure I will be dipping more on Sherlock Holmes 2 and The Dark Knight Rises in 2012.

Oh boy!!! I don't even know where to start. Lets just say what steelbook haven't I bought multiples of.

I need to start cataloging my collection. I have so many of them in boxes and bubble wrap still.

Sucker Punch. All steelbook editions. Something about hot chicks dressed up in hot looking clothes with guns just makes me want to.....

Der Nebel. So damn cool looking.
Death Race. One of my favorite looking steels.
RE Trilogy.(KOR) One of my favorites.
Star Trek. Love the white backgrond and clean look.
Transformers 2(CA). Love the artwork on this one alot.
Hellboy 2(DE) Probably my 3rd favorte steel of all time.
Death Proof(DE). Love it.
Halloween(DE). Amazing looking art.
Indy Jones(CA). Same effect that Halloween has with the deep colors.

1. I got specific preference of titles which I tend to collect all version (north american releases) - OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Dipping)

2. I literally in continuity of collecting all North American released Blu-Ray steelbooks (G1 or G2) so far GOT ALL EM'!

My multiple dipping is based mainly on two directors: Snyder and Nolan. Other than that I usually judge by the cover, so far I dipped more on Sherlock Holmes and Public Enemies.

I got several copies of the sames movies because I used them a trade chips, not because I want to own the movie several times.
I guess I didn't fall in love with another version of a steel I already own

I double dip once in awhile, depending on my favorite movie.

Also, like Fast Five, I double dip the USA and the France edition because my weekend car was in the movie and it's an good action pack movie.

Errr ..... too many. Res Evil: Afterlife I think I have 9, all different countries. Several Trons and Wanted and Sucker Punches.
