Additional info from Noodles

Just been chatting to Elliot Cardona (the guy who designed the artwork) and he confirmed that this has "a matte finish with a Pantone red and embossed lettering." Shame it's not gloss, but I can live with it being matte because I like the artwork so much. Can't wait for this one!

I really like the look of this steel. There is an obvious lack of artwork but the overall design looks pretty slick. The embossed lettering is a nice touch as well.

Thanks for that noodles. Very interesting. Having seen that they could have done 2 versions the green James hunt version and the red niki Lauder version.

That would have been even worse. The cars Hunt drove were mostly white or red and white, never green.

Wasn't his Formula 3 car in the movie green? And I believe Lauda's was red. Just a guess, but maybe that's what the designer had in mind when deciding on the colours.

^Hope so because I've got it on pre-order and cancelled the poor steelbook design. I would assume it will be the same packaging just with a swing tray inside for the extra disc and a sticker on the slip advertising the extra disc.

It has a lenticular cover but has a blue amaray case rather than red (as the normal version has) according to the Rush facebook page. The extras arent much to write home about either (imo) only three extras
