I really struggle to like any of the new crap they making these days....that´s why we need releases like this or Apocalypse Now NM, absolute nobrainers in my eyes......just from the top of my head lately - The Protege, Don´t Breathe 2, Jungle Cruise, The Forever Purge, Gunpowder Milkshake, Jolt all such a crap, below average flicks, waste of time even on one watch....and so on and so on, makes me sick.....luckily there are still, although very few, good pieces (The Suicide Squad, The Green Knight...)

Hollywood has too many boxes to check off in order to make movies now. They are rehashing everything because they know those movies used to be good and people will come to watch. What they don’t tell you is all the political and ideological crap they plan to shove in your face.

And I agree with what your saying about people using GB and buying direct. It’s my one problem against GBs. But it can’t be stopped unfortunately and it’s always happened. Don’t know what else to say to you because you seem to just go round in circles

I totally agree with you, although not all situations where someone buys from a GB and direct are nefarious.

I’ve done it once with Godzilla v Kong. I bought the full slip from the GB but didn’t want to take a second GB copy from someone else who might then miss out and I also wasn’t fully committed to getting a second version while the GB was open. I did end up buying the single lenti direct, but it’s for my collection and not to sell.
