Word of caution from an UK HDN Member about HMV (thanks VRob98)

People should just be aware of 2 things:

1) If you receive a damaged or faulty copy from now on, you will not receive a replacement or refund

2) If they charge your card and are then unable to fulfil your order, you will not be refunded.

The way a company operates whilst under administration is quite different to how it operates normally, and certain consumer rights are suspended. If anything goes wrong you would have to apply to the administrator or claim against your credit card issuer.

I'd encourage everyone who has orders in with HMV to consider the above, as I'd hate to see anyone here lose their money in all of this.

The hut have had 3 email enquiries in the last 7 days in regard to Looper and their inability to provide it,yet.

No answer to any of my requests. Lesson learned. No more Hut/Zavvi for me, wa****s!

I know the feeling, i just received another email from them saying:

We apologise for the continued delay in sending your item.....

I'm just glad i ordered from both Amazon and zavvi, Amazon delivered there's on release date and zavvi well was just to test to see if there'd upgraded there packaging (from pic's i guess not) and to see if delivery had improved.

I know people may not like this version of the steelbook, but after seeing both UK and FS in hand yeah the FS is slightly better with inside art and back artwork (my preference) but the vibrancy of the colour of the UK one is great and maybe adding corresponding inside artwork our self's will make an improvement.

Has for the film i comment on that has i've not watched it yet but the concept of the film is right up my alley.

Yes I've had several of the availability emails but the emails are completely normal from The Hut Group sites and you just ignore them - it's just their automated system.

I got my steel yesterday from amazon. It took 3 days to deliver it to Germany and is mint. So worth the 3 pounds extra!@

My apologies. I actually made an enquiry and the answer I had back was that they wete unable to supply due to unavailibility from their suppliers and that they could not give me a delivery date (luckily its on "special" order )

Hopeless!
