The disc will be the same as the new US Special Edition

Here's something that's made me very happy. From the PR company -

Hi Matt,

I hope you are well, please find attached the press release for Pain & Gain. I am pleased to confirm that the UK release will feature the same extras as the US special edition release.

Kind Regards

Kerry

Latest update from Zavvi
Still waiting on finalised artwork.

The finishes are overall matte varnish, except for a spot UV gloss on Mark and Dwayne on the front cover.

There’s a pantone red on their names on the front cover, and emboss on the title treatment.

Confirmed as 1000 units only and from the traffic and questions we are getting, think this will only last a couple of days at the most before selling out.

I watched this over the holidays, and I must say I really enjoyed it and found it very funny.

I can see why it wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea, (it's not like anything Michael Bay has done before) but the black humour was right up my alley! (check out the Rock with his 'barbeque'!!!)

I found I enjoyed it a lot more than Wahlbergs other recent release, 2 Guns. Which I found quite boring and disappointing after all the rave reviews I'd heard about it. Didn't really do anything for me that one!

But I guess it comes down to personal taste. Really glad I 'blind bought' this now though! It's definitely worth a look and so hard to believe the events really took place!

It really amazes me that the usually very cynical and sceptical HDN users (ESPECIALLY towards anything zavvi) just take this information by a potentially completely clueless CCA as gospel. I'm afraid he probably just checked the stock info in his internal tool and saw plenty of copies of this:

Seeing as the last lot of cancellations and declined cards have not been put up since release day their is a very high chance that this will pop again at some point.
