Just been chatting to Elliot Cardona (the guy who designed the artwork) and he confirmed that this has "a matte finish with a Pantone red and embossed lettering." Shame it's not gloss, but I can live with it being matte because I like the artwork so much. Can't wait for this one!

What is the little trick to make it region free???

1. Region free player which will cost only few $$ above the Steelbook price

2. Put the Universal US disc which I think could be Region free

If you use your remote on certain players (Panasonics & Sony's I believe) you can get the player to override the region coding on SC discs. It works for me.

That does look good, the slip blends well with the artwork. I was just getting the lenticular slip but I'm tempted with this now.
