Additional info from Noodles

Just been chatting to Elliot Cardona (the guy who designed the artwork) and he confirmed that this has "a matte finish with a Pantone red and embossed lettering." Shame it's not gloss, but I can live with it being matte because I like the artwork so much. Can't wait for this one!

Yes - just received mine this morning from base.com

Was sent in a standard jiffy bag but managed to survive the Royal Mail somehow!

Received mine earlier and I have to say it looks even better in-hand! I genuinely think it's one of the nicest steelbooks we've seen lately (it probably helps that red is my favourite colour). I love that the artwork is simple and not overcrowded like most steels nowadays. Gloss would've been nice, but the pantone red is so shiny it already stands out quite a lot anyway. The white on the text looks surprisingly nice too... helps it blend with the j-card really well imo. Can't wait to re-watch the film later. :movie:

I don't mind the plainness of the design but I'm not a big fan of the embossing here. While it's normal to see some deformation of the surface around embossed titles, this one looks like it's been hammered out by a repair shop after a prang. Would have preferred it flat like an F1 car graphic personally.
