I love having lenticulars though. Why couldn't that be the one that came with the extra slipbox? Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I think I prefer full slips just look nicer as much as I want the lenticular for this i I'm gonna give it a miss as I don't need two of these rather try get all the editions for a film I really love.

I don't think they would do that as then you would have the lenticular and the slipbox. Nobody would want to buy the slipbox version!:p I have both of these and would say the full slip is the better one overall. The lenticułar version does look great though!:)

What's your basis on why the full slip is better? Is the material of the case different? Does the extra slipcase (which looks awesome) put it over the top? What is it specifically that you like better?

edit- I still haven't gotten my confirmation email either. Check all folders + spam. Nothing. Guess I can't buy it anyway. :(

I bought the lenti edition some hours ago but still not received a confirmation email from Kimchi. Is this normal?

Thanks
Yes this is normal. I rarely get confirm emails. The best to do is log in and check your status. If it states payment complete, you are safe and will be processed normally.

Thank you for clearing that up for me. Yes I checked immediately once I had paid with PayPal, and indeed it says my payment is complete :)

Problem is, you need a confirmation email to even be able to log in after you register, which I still have yet to get either.

The full slip is very heavy in hand. The material is very thick and high quality. You also get the extra booklet which doesn't come with the lenticular slip. Add to that the free slipbox and I think that is the best version. I am a big fan of lenticulars and this one does look excellent, I just think the slipbox is the better package. You can't go wrong with either though!:)

Is there any unboxing videos as I have not seen any yet

I like the attention to detail you get with Kimchidvd Exclusives slip covers and extras they do look fantastic
I have Leon Steelbook and that is amazing looking

But I would like to see a video of The Pianist steelbook
I've seen the photos and yes it has great packaging especially the Full Slip
But I would like to see a video of the steelbook itself as the photos don't really show it to its best due to its dark colouring

But that lenticular slip though

I love the piano key sidewalk! I think it's visually far more interesting than the full slip edition. Each to their own though.

I agree, the lenticular is more visually appealing than the full slip. The full slip feels like real quality though. As I said before these see both fantastic editions!:scat:
