FYI to anyone who's been asking and wasn't aware, mantalab already released leon via their own HK regional exclusive 4K amaray last year. DC only, on both discs, no special features.

As someone who isn’t particularly interested in this release nor the Kimchidvd as I’m not into the film, I’m surprised to see the reaction here. For what it is, I think manta have done a solid job

Honestly, you'd think that the Feds would break your door down just for considering buying the film.

And none of it is ever instigated by Leons character. It's all from Mathilda, her subtle manipulation of the situation and her suffering from terrible upbringing - She's grown up too fast.
It's in the characterisation.

Now, Portmans role as a 13 year old in Ted Demmes 'Beautiful Girls' is another story, she was way way over sexualised in that film and borders on the uncomfortable, (incidentally produced by Mr Weinstein) but it'd never stop me watching or boycotting the film.

It is hard to judge manta releases sometimes, I was convinced Matrix would be a sure fire bloodbath, but it wasn’t. This will be more popular than the last 5, but not as much as The Batman.
